Alessandro Lenci – Distributional Semantics: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow

Short bio: I am a Full professor in the Department of Philology, Literature, and Linguistics of the University of Pisa and the director of the Computational Liguistics Laboratory (CoLing Lab). I am also an associate researcher of the Istituto di Linguistica Computationale of the CNR (ILC-CNR) in Pisa and a member of the Dylan Lab at ILC-CNR. My current research focuses on the following themes: distributional semantics, computational methods to investigate verb argument structure, event types and tools and resources for Natural Language Processing.
